Healthwatch have the power to make sure that people’s voices are heard by the Government and those running Services, so if you’re 25 and under, make yours count and tell us what you think! That’s everything Healthcare – from your School Nurse, Dentist, GP to other Support Services – it starts with you!

What is Young Healthwatch

Young Healthwatch is a volunteering program designed to give you the chance to develop new skills, meet like-minded people your age and engage with young people looking at NHS services in Hull such as your GP’s, Hospitals, sexual health clinics and much more! If you want to make a difference and develop new skills, apply today!

How can you be involved?

Engagement Volunteer

Youth Engagement Volunteers collect information about the nature and quality of local Health and Social Care services by speaking to local young people about their experiences.

Foodbank Partnership Volunteer

To be a representative of Healthwatch and gain the experiences of young people by engaging with local communities and talking to seldom heard groups about experiences using local health and social care services. 

Social Media and Marketing Assistant 

Social media and marketing assistants support the team with content creation and production across our social media platforms. Raising awareness of Healthwatch Hull and continuing to promote various campaigns and projects.

Sports and Active Partnership Lead

Our sports and active partnership volunteer will attend local competitions and sessions to engage with young people, promoting the positive impact of an active healthy lifestyle.

Youth Trend Researcher 

Investigating the needs of young people living in Hull using health and social care services. By identifying reoccurring or prominent trends you will assist in the production of new engagement material such as surveys and reports ensuring young peoples voices are heard.
