What we do

Healthwatch Hull is the independent consumer champion for Health and Social Care in Hull.

Healthwatch Hull was established in April 2013 to gather the public and patient’s experiences of using local health and social care services. We work with the providers, commissioners and regulators of local health and social care services to ensure that the voices of those people who use the services are listened to in the planning, design and delivery of future services.

We cover a range of services including:

  • GP Practices
  • Dental Services
  • Care Homes
  • Opticians
  • Mental Health Services
  • Maternity Services
  • Hospitals
  • Adult Day Services

Healthwatch Hull is available to anyone who resides in the Hull area. We can help you by:

  • Providing information, advice and support about local Health and Social Care services
  • Gathering your experiences of Health and Social Care – good and bad
  • Visiting services to check how good they are – please click here to find out more about our Enter and View function
  • Helping people make a complaint about NHS services

We also sit on the Health and Wellbeing Board to help improve health and wellbeing for the residents of Hull.
